ELDOA Method Mobility Classes in College Station
For example: if you are experiencing knee pain and tightness after doing squats, it could very well be the muscles of your quadriceps are too tight, and thereby compressing the joint. The goal of myofascial stretching will be to show how to stretch those muscles with respect to their anatomy to create lasting change to help alleviate the knee pain.
In regards to the ELDOA, this is a French acronym that, when translated to English, means: osteoarticular decoaptation. Osteoarticular: bones and joints, decoaptation: opening or to create space. So the goal of ELDOA is to create space between the joints to allow for better mobility in the joints. For anyone who has ever had issues in their back, these movements can be game-changing.
The goal of these classes is to teach you how to put yourself back together after a hard training session: if you train the muscle, you should stretch the muscle.
We hope to see you at one of our classes!
